TIPS & STRATEGIES

 

GOING OUT:

 

Use as many double letter tiles together as possible such as in the word ST +A + SH + I + NG.

 

Keep a few single vowels near the end but not too many of the same vowels. Keep an E, an A, and an I for example.

 

Save the PARROT for last as he is used as any single letter.

 

HIGHEST SCORE:

 

Attempt to form  words from 8 or more tiles at the beginning of play. For example if you can form as many as three 8+ words you will have 600 points to build on. 

 

Many longer words begin with letters such as EX and UN.

 

Try to use a combination of single letters and double letter tiles.

 

Try to form words with different endings such as ION, OUS,

ING and MENT.

 

 

FASTEST TIME:

 

Get off to a fast start. If you hesitate too long or make mistakes, immediately start a new game.

 

Remember you must GO OUT in order to record a personal fastest time. So make words fast but also play to GO OUT.
